On this set, she was to meet her future husband, Sajid Nadiadwala, a well-known producer who was a close friend of Govinda. After meeting Bharti Sajid fell in love at first sight. They tied the knot on May 10 1992, when he was 26, and she was 18.
It is reported that Divya then converted to Islam, changing her name to Sana Nadiadwala. Their marriage was 10 months old when Bharti passed away. They kept their marriage a secret, even though there were rumours ablaze at the time of something going on between them.
